Eligibility/Qualification: Candidates with a Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical and biomolecular engineering, or molecular and cell biology are encouraged to apply.
Job Description: The successful candidate will work on a project focused on developing covalent inhibitors and proteolysis targeted chimera (PROTAC) degraders of oncogenes with no approved drugs. Responsibilities include protein expression and purification, biochemical and bioanalytical studies to characterize small molecule binding and inhibition, and exploration of promising compounds in mammalian cells for target engagement and protein degradation. Training will be provided for candidates lacking expertise in certain areas.
Duties: Duties include expression and purification of proteins, binding and inhibition studies using biochemical assays, solving co-crystal structures, and exploring small molecules in mammalian cells using various techniques.
