Job Description
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will conduct research on host-microbiome interactions during population declines by bioinformatically analyzing genomic and metagenomic data from museum specimens.
The responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the sampling of museum-preserved specimens and associated oral microbiomes from natural history collections.
- Processing samples in the ancient DNA lab.
- Conducting original research and disseminating findings through refereed papers, conference presentations, and seminars.
