  2. Omics analysis experience.

Note: Candidates who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting the award of their PhDs will be considered initially as Research Assistants, with a later transition to Research Associate upon confirmation of PhD award.

Job Description

The postholder will investigate early disease mechanisms of lung fibrosis using molecular biology, advanced microscopy, and cell culture techniques, including 3D culture. They will work closely with clinicians and may collaborate with experts from various institutions. The role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Study the molecular mechanisms in patients with subclinical disease.
  • Track the progression of interstitial lung abnormalities.
  • Utilize human samples for tissue processing, primary lung cell sorting, and spatial transcriptomics.
  • Develop organoid co-culture models to validate epithelial-immune interactions.
  • Engage in data analysis and contribute to publications and presentations.
