Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting ultrafast time-resolved optical experiments, integrating experimental setups with measurement electronics, and leading independent research projects while collaborating with junior lab members. Key skills required include:
- Designing, assembling, and aligning ultrafast optical setups
- Integrating setups with measurement electronics for data acquisition
Experience in nonlinear optics, electrical switching, high-frequency electronics, thermal transport physics, and beamline experiments at user facilities is beneficial but not mandatory. Strong communication, teamwork, and mentorship skills are essential, as the candidate will support and guide junior lab members.
A solid publication record demonstrating technical writing skills is required (preprints are welcome). The initial appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and funding availability.
