This position focuses on studying non-canonical mechanisms of genome transmission in the human fungal pathogen, Cryptococcus neoformans.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in a relevant field.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Single particle cryoEM
- Cryo-electron Tomography
- Protein Biochemistry (including protein expression and purification)
- Single-molecule Biophysics
Job Description:
- Conduct research on the mechanics and regulation of cell division and chromosome segregation, focusing on polyploidy and aneuploidy.
- Employ a range of techniques including structural biology, live-cell microscopy, genome engineering, and OMICS approaches.
- Collaborate within a diverse and vibrant international research community.
