Eligibility/Qualification:

  • A relevant PhD (or nearing completion) in quantum mechanics, open quantum systems, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of research methods and techniques relevant to the discipline.
  • Strong programming skills for high-performance scientific computing.
  • Experience in quantum optimal control and numerical simulation.

Job Description:

  • Develop and apply advanced theoretical and computational frameworks to design electromagnetic waveforms.
  • Implement and optimize quantum-dynamical simulations and gradient-based optimal control algorithms.
  • Perform large-scale GPU/HPC calculations and apply findings to leading quantum-biological hypotheses.
  • Communicate research progress and outcomes effectively, maintaining documentation and preparing proposals.
  • Work independently on complex interdisciplinary research problems within the established research programme.
