Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Statistics, or Genomics.
- Experience or knowledge of next-generation sequencing technologies, bioinformatics, statistical method development, or epidemiology.
- Strong programming skills (preferably in Python).
- Well-developed research skills for presenting findings.
- Experience of training staff and preparing publications.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will:
- Apply evolutionary genetic approaches to study disease vectors.
- Design, develop, and implement genomic tools and methods related to insecticide resistance and other related topics.
- Provide supervision to students and technical staff.
- Develop novel projects and contribute to writing research grants.
- Disseminate findings through publications and conferences.
