Eligibility/Qualification
- Education: PhD degree in a biomedical science-related subject.
- Experience: Significant experience in gastrointestinal organoid culture and biobanking.
- Candidates still awaiting their PhD can be appointed at Grade 6, spine point 30, with the salary increasing upon confirmation of degree award.
Job Description
- Support the establishment and expansion of a biobank for PDOs from upper gastrointestinal cancers.
- Collaborate with scientists and clinicians to enhance cancer detection and treatment options.
- Conduct independent and collaborative research, contributing to the development of PDO infrastructure in Liverpool.
- Engage in publications and grant applications.
- Training will be provided as necessary.
