Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Synthesizing inorganic solids with high ionic conductivity, especially in nanocrystalline forms.
- Performing structural analysis using powder diffraction and total scattering, including pair distribution function.
- Characterizing the structure and transport properties of the synthesized materials.
- Traveling to and conducting experiments at out-of-state or international synchrotron facilities.
- Writing and publishing scientific manuscripts, presenting at local and international conferences.
- Mentoring undergraduate/graduate students.
- Integrating research activities within a multi-institutional team, leveraging facilities at the Argonne National Laboratory (ANL).
