Postdoctoral Research Associate/Fellow: The MRC Centre for Medical Mycology is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate/Fellow position. Eligibility/Qualification:
- For Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA):
- A relevant PhD or equivalent qualification/experience in a related field.
- Knowledge in fungal immunology, flow cytometry, cell culture techniques, and animal experimentation.
- For Postdoctoral Research Fellow (PDRF):
- A relevant PhD/DPhil in biological sciences.
- Experience in research project management, funding acquisition, and conference presentations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will:
- Characterize the immune response to Malassezia.
- Identify how strain variations modulate the antifungal T-cell response.
- Employ in vitro and in vivo experimental models of host-fungus interaction.
- Work collaboratively across disciplines and manage independent research projects.
