Postdoctoral Research Associate – Genome: The Genome Organization and Regulation Research Group at the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position. Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD or equivalent degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, or computational biology.
- Experience and a proven track record in a related research field (chromatin, epigenetics, transcription, or gene regulation) are advantageous but not required.
- Curiosity-driven and passionate about science.
- Self-motivated, independent, and enthusiastic about working in an international, multidisciplinary, and collaborative environment.
- German language skills are not required; the working language is English.
Job Description:
- Conduct research on the 3D organization of the genome, mechanisms of structure formation, and gene expression regulation.
- Utilize molecular and computational biology approaches tailored to the candidate’s interests.
- Collaborate within an international, multidisciplinary, and collaborative working environment.
- Contribute to the ERC Starting grant project “3D-REG.”
