Postdoctoral Research Associate Grade 7: An exciting opportunity is available for a Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) at the forefront of vascular ageing research. This full-time position, funded by the Leverhulme Trust, aims to uncover new biology by exploring the role of RNA sensing in endothelial cell senescence. The research will extend the current understanding of cellular senescence, specifically focusing on RNA sensing in addition to classic DNA sensing. The PDRA will contribute expertise in cellular senescence and/or RNA biology, demonstrating awareness of recent advancements in the field. This position is within the research team of Professor Reinhold Medina at the Department of Eye and Vision Science in the Institute of Life Course and Medical Sciences, with a duration of 3 years.
