Eligibility/Qualification:
PhD in chemistry or biochemistry, broad and open scientific curiosity, experience in peptide synthesis (organic chemistry), solid experience in biochemical characterization of proteins and protein/peptide interactions, independency to analyze obtained results, writing of reports and presentation of the results, and working in a team.
Job Description:
Postdoctoral Research Associate – Development of Bifunctional Peptides for Virus Capture in Mucous Membranes
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will be responsible for the synthesis of peptide libraries using the SPOT technology in order to optimize current candidates or to identify new ones. They will be involved in the screening of these peptide libraries for their interaction with proteins from different viruses (SARS-CoV, influenza, etc.) and will also be responsible for the biochemical characterization of peptide:protein interactions. The position will be directly supervised by the permanent staff of the research group and will allow the candidate to be immersed in the subject for the duration of the 12-month program.
