Job Description:

Postdoctoral Research Associate in Nanoscale Thermal Transport and Ultrafast Science

We are looking for candidates with expertise in building and utilizing optical and ultrafast (time-resolved) laser setups. The successful candidate will be involved in experiments to measure and visualize heat transport at the nanoscale, study energy-transfer dynamics in low-dimensional materials, investigate energy-efficient switching pathways in nanoelectronics, and explore atomistic structural dynamics in next-generation electronic materials and devices. Proficiency in designing, assembling, and aligning optical setups around femtosecond pulsed lasers is crucial. The role includes integrating setups with measurement instruments, programming for remote data acquisition (using LabVIEW/Python/MATLAB), data analysis, and effective communication of findings through technical publications.

How to Apply: Applicants must apply online through the official application portal: https://www.princeton.edu/acad-positions/position/31361. To complete the application, please submit the following:

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) with a list of publications
  • Cover letter summarizing prior research experiences and future interests
  • Contact information for two or three references

Upon submission, you will receive a confirmation email. Your references may also receive communication through the provided email addresses to provide recommendations.

Last Date for Apply: Until Position Filled
