Postdoctoral Research Associate in Tuberculosis: Queen Mary University of London is seeking a qualified candidate for an 18-month postdoctoral research associate position to contribute to an MRC-funded project focused on tuberculosis research. Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD in a relevant field (or close to completion)
  • Strong background in human and murine primary cell culture, confocal microscopy, and RNA sequencing techniques
  • Familiarity with flow cytometry, in vitro infection techniques, and bio-informatic analysis is desirable

The postdoctoral research associate will:

  • Establish and run immunology and infection experimental assays
  • Work collaboratively and independently within a team
  • Explore targets for anti-virulence approaches in tuberculosis drug development
