Postdoctoral Research Associate- PDRA: The University of Exeter’s Faculty of Health and Life Sciences is seeking applications for a full-time fixed-term position for a Graduate Research Assistant or Postdoctoral Research Associate. Eligibility/Qualification:
- Graduate Research Assistant (GRA):
- First-degree level education or equivalent qualification/experience in a related field.
- Expertise in the analysis of human neurophysiological data (e.g., E/MEG), computational neuroscience, and predictive statistical models.
- Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA):
- Relevant Ph.D. (or nearing completion) or equivalent qualification/experience in a related field.
- Expertise in the analysis of human neurophysiological data (e.g., E/MEG), computational neuroscience, and predictive statistical models.
Job Description:
- Develop a translational framework for personalized psychiatry using sleep EEG data.
- Focus on computational models of thalamo-cortical dynamics.
- Utilize machine learning and statistical models to examine the relationship between sleep EEG and clinical, phenotypic, and genomic data.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary research team across different university sites.
- Engage with patients with lived experience (PWLE) from the project’s inception.
