Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in a relevant field required by the start date
- Background in population genetics/evolutionary genomics or a quantitative field such as statistics, computer science, or mathematics
- Strong interest in population genetics and evolutionary processes
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be involved in projects that focus on understanding how evolutionary processes such as selection, mutation, recombination, and historical population size changes shape patterns of genomic variation. The projects may include employing computational and theoretical approaches, statistical method development, or using empirical approaches to address fundamental questions in population genetics.
