- Proficiency in signal processing and data analysis for RF and/or acoustic measurements.
- Familiarity with machine learning methods and software packages like Pytorch or Scikit-learn.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Matlab, Python, or C++.
- Experience with numerical modeling platforms like COMSOL, CST, or Ansys.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct original scientific research through peer-reviewed publications or conference presentations.
Job Description:
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will primarily work with the A-3 group, which comprises approximately 45 full-time staff from various educational backgrounds, including electrical and mechanical engineers, designers, technicians, physicists, and students. This position involves collaboration with other groups and directorates supporting the mission of national security. Candidates are expected to manage and carry out original research projects, develop experimental setups, and engage in the application of advanced techniques in electromagnetics and acoustics.
