Research Area

Eligibility/Qualification
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, structural biology, or a closely-related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and high motivation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with molecular biology techniques (Western blots, qPCR/RNAseq).
- Experience with gene editing (CRISPR) and DNA manipulation.
- Hands-on experience with metabolomics sample preparation and measurement by LC/MS or GC/MS.
- Demonstrated proficiency in protein chemistry and protein biophysical analysis.
- Prior experience with native or intact mass spectrometry (valuable but not required).
- Willingness to learn advanced metabolomics and proteomics techniques.
- Technical expertise in modern chromatography methodologies and techniques.
- Good computer skills and data analysis experience.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
Scholarship Description
This Postdoctoral Research Associate position in the Skinner Lab at Northeastern University offers a two-year appointment, with the possibility of extension based on progress and funding availability.
