Job Description
The successful Postdoctoral Research Associate will be responsible for:
- Breeding and maintaining genetic mouse lines.
- Conducting cellular and molecular biology research including bulk RNA-sequencing, scRNA-sequencing, bioinformatics, qRT-PCR, proteomics, and metabolomics, among others.
- Performing in vivo physiological examinations such as echocardiography and treadmill tests.
- Developing and preparing adenoviral and adeno-associated viral constructs.
- Managing laboratory operations and safety protocols.
- Writing manuscripts for publication and participating in grant proposal preparations.
- Presenting research findings at group meetings and conferences.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of scRNA-sequencing, bioinformatics, in vivo physiological studies.
- Proficiency in cardiovascular physiology, particularly echocardiography and microsurgery techniques.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
