Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or Microbiology (or expected soon).
  • In-depth knowledge of cell/molecular biology and parasitology.
  • Experience with modern techniques such as -omics and/or super-resolution microscopy.
  • Evidence of high-quality research (e.g., published articles and/or preprints).
  • Developed communication skills through presentations at international forums.
  • Collaborative spirit, keen attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a team environment.

Job Description

As a Postdoctoral Research Associate, you will lead a project aimed at characterizing molecular pathways involved in:

  • Regulation of biomolecular condensates
  • Genome organization
  • Nuclear architecture
  • Gene expression
  • Host immune evasion by the African trypanosome T. brucei

You will utilize cutting-edge techniques including genetic screens, advanced imaging, proteomics, and next-generation sequencing.
