Join Washington State University’s Crop and Soil Sciences Department as a Postdoctoral Research Associate located at the Lind Dryland Research Station. This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 12 months, with the potential for renewal based on performance and available funding for up to two years.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Ph.D. in agronomy, soil science, or related field
  • Experience with diverse cropping rotational systems, soil fertility, and soil health
  • Ability to work with cross-disciplinary teams and supervise research assistants
  • Valid US driving license or ability to obtain one
  • Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs

Job Description:
The main responsibilities include managing field trials, collecting and analyzing soil and plant samples, data analysis, and publishing reports and papers related to dryland cropping systems. The focus will be on dryland agronomy, fertility, and soil health aspects of various crops in the region.
