Postdoctoral Research Fellow (109571-0824): Join our innovative, impactful project funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation at the University of Warwick. We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to contribute to a collaborative project focused on performing research that informs strategic decision-making around plans for the elimination of sleeping sickness (human African trypanosomiasis, HAT).

  • PhD submission or conferred in a relevant field

  • Strong understanding of statistical models and AI applications
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Job Description:
    The postdoctoral researcher will play a crucial role in designing and developing AI-assisted, interactive and visual decision support tools to enable key stakeholders from national disease control programs to make better and long-lasting use of disease models developed by the group. The role involves close engagement with modeling researchers and key stakeholders to understand their needs, capabilities, and aspirations, and to lead the development of AI-supported, interactive and visual methods and tools.
