Eligibility/Qualification

  • Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Computer Science (CS), or a related field by the time of appointment.
  • Hands-on experience in machine learning and deep learning modeling and analysis.
  • Proficiency in utilization of containers and understanding of data analytics modeling.
  • Strong publication record in relevant areas.
  • Experience in Reinforcement Learning is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Motivated to produce publications, write research proposals, and mentor students.

Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site role that involves:

  • Conducting advanced research in UWBG semiconductor processes.
  • Developing new fabrication, processing, and doping strategies for novel UWBG heterointerfaces.
  • Creating scanning probe microscopy techniques for UWBG characterization.
  • Building AI-based models to investigate materials and heterostructures.
  • Publishing research findings and participating in academic conferences.
  • Collaborating with faculty members and contributing to the training of graduate and undergraduate students.
