The project, “Challenges of Interdisciplinary Research,” aims to explore the meanings, challenges, and dynamics of interdisciplinary research in contemporary contexts.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in sciences, social sciences, humanities, or arts obtained within the last 3 years (4 years for those who had pre or postnatal leave during this period).
- Specialization in any interdisciplinary area and/or thematic.
- Ability to conduct applied or theoretical interdisciplinary research.
- Must apply for the regular Postdoctoral Fondecyt competition as soon as possible.
Job Description:
The selected postdoctoral researcher will:
- Investigate the theoretical and practical challenges of interdisciplinary research.
- Analyze the interactions, relationships, and conflicts between different scientific disciplines.
- Examine the relevance of interdisciplinary research in Chile and its implications for higher education institutions and national development.
- Contribute to the curricular updates at College UC by integrating interdisciplinary research perspectives.
- Collaborate with the Centers and Regional Stations at UC.
- Supervised by Professor Bárbara Silva.
