Postdoctoral Research Fellow at NUS: The National University of Singapore (NUS) is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join Prof. Dan Zhao’s research group in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. The position will focus on the design of chiral functional membranes based on advanced porous materials for selective separation of chiral molecules in pharmaceutical applications. The role is available from April 2025.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong research experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Membrane separations, particularly enantioselective separations.
- Chiral porous materials (e.g., chiral MOFs, chiral COFs).
- Proven ability to work independently and conduct high-quality research.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and English writing skills.
Job Description:
The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will:
- Focus on designing and developing chiral functional membranes from advanced porous materials like MOFs and COFs.
- Conduct research related to the selective separation of chiral molecules in pharmaceutical contexts.
- Collaborate with the research team and contribute to the group’s ongoing projects in porous materials and membrane separations.
- Publish high-quality research findings in international journals and contribute to grant applications and project proposals.
