Job Description:
The successful candidate will:
- Conduct experimental work under the supervision of Dr. Andrew Plackett and Dr. Graeme Kettles, primarily bioinformatic, while supporting wet-lab duties (e.g., RNA extraction).
- Manage their time effectively to meet project milestones and funder requirements.
- Analyze and interpret data, developing research objectives and proposals in collaboration with project mentors.
- Assist in designing follow-on experiments and writing research funding bids.
- Disseminate findings through publications and presentations.
- Supervise students and contribute to departmental research activities.
