Job Description:

The successful candidate will:

  • Conduct experimental work under the supervision of Dr. Andrew Plackett and Dr. Graeme Kettles, primarily bioinformatic, while supporting wet-lab duties (e.g., RNA extraction).
  • Manage their time effectively to meet project milestones and funder requirements.
  • Analyze and interpret data, developing research objectives and proposals in collaboration with project mentors.
  • Assist in designing follow-on experiments and writing research funding bids.
  • Disseminate findings through publications and presentations.
  • Supervise students and contribute to departmental research activities.
