Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Digital News: The Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join its research team. The fellow will play a crucial role in a larger project focused on advancing our understanding of how journalism and news audiences are evolving in the digital age. The project aims to explore media developments in various countries, examining the interplay between analogue and digital media and the relationship between news provision and consumption.
This is a full-time, fixed-term appointment until August 31, 2025, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the largest international studies of journalism and news worldwide.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Relevant PhD/DPhil or close to completion in political or other social science.
- Experience in working with relevant quantitative methods and analysis.
- Familiarity with the existing literature in journalism, media studies, communication, sociology, or data science.
- Excellent written, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of trends in media use and news consumption globally.
- Record of work on digital media and journalism is desirable.
