Job Description: The successful candidate will work with the Geddes lab to understand the rhizobium-legume symbiosis and broader plant-microbe interactions. The goal is to translate discoveries to engineer root nodule symbiosis in cereal crops. The researcher will use advanced molecular cloning, synthetic genomics, and bioinformatics techniques. The researcher will mentor graduate students in experimental design and manuscript preparation and develop independent research lines.
