Job Description

The successful applicant will contribute to a project focused on:

  • Building a fully automated platform for high-throughput synthesis of protein designs.
  • Measuring the functionality of created proteins.
  • Utilizing high-quality datasets in machine learning directed evolution (MLDE) cycles to optimize protein activity, expression, and yield.
  • This project is a multi-institutional collaboration and is funded by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs for a two-year period starting in January 2026.
