Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related discipline earned within the last two years
- Strong foundation in molecular biology and cancer biology
- Experience in mammalian cell culture, phenotypic assays, and a background in alternative splicing and/or pancreatic cancer is highly desired
- Mouse genetics experience and familiarity with NGS is desired but not essential
Job Description:
The selected candidate will conduct research using molecular biology, cell biology, genomics, and proteomics approaches to investigate the functions of spliced isoforms driving pancreatic cancer development and metastasis. Responsibilities include planning and executing experiments, interpreting data, developing scientific writing and presentation skills, and collaborating within an interdisciplinary team.
