Postdoctoral Research Fellow – PFAS Pilot: The University of Queensland (UQ) is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN). The successful candidate will focus on developing new polymer sorbents for the removal of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).

Job Description

As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing a research program and collaborating with UQ colleagues, industry, and government partners.
  • Seeking and managing research funding opportunities.
  • Publishing in reputable journals and utilizing best practice research methodologies.
  • Supervising students and managing research staff, providing feedback and training.
  • Engaging in internal service roles and upholding university values.
