Eligibility/Qualification
- Candidates must hold a PhD equivalent to a Norwegian doctoral degree within a relevant field by the start date.
- A background in bioinformatics or immunology is required.
- Preferably, experience with transcriptomics, genetics, or multi-omics data.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as R and/or Python.
- Experience in a Linux environment is advantageous.
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated strong motivation and exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, with good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Job Description
The postdoctoral fellow will primarily focus on:
- Analyzing single-cell sequencing and high-dimensional data from immune cells in RA patients.
- Identifying disease-specific T cells and studying T-cell receptor repertoires.
- Collaborating with international researchers to discover novel antigens relevant to RA.
- Engaging in additional projects related to high-dimensional single-cell sequencing and multi-omics data analysis.
- Contributing to the translational understanding of the pathogenesis of rheumatic diseases to improve diagnostics and therapeutic approaches.
