Eligibility / Qualification

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • PhD degree in: Physics, Chemistry, Materials Engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong experience in:
    • Synthesis of nanomaterials.
    • Characterization of advanced materials.
    • Operation of analytical instruments for structural and morphological characterization.
  • Ability to conduct independent research and contribute to scientific publications.
  • Highly motivated candidates with experience in nanostructures and functional materials are encouraged to apply.

Job Description

The selected Postdoctoral Fellow will work on research activities related to decarbonization technologies, including:

  • Reviewing scientific literature on nanostructured membranes and advanced materials.
  • Synthesizing functional nanomaterials.
  • Developing polymeric, hybrid, and composite membranes.
  • Performing surface modification and functionalization of membranes.
  • Conducting advanced structural, chemical, and morphological characterization using techniques such as:
    • X-ray diffraction (XRD)
    • Scanning electron microscopy (SEM)
    • Transmission electron microscopy (TEM)
    • Raman spectroscopy
    • Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR)
    • X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS)
    • Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA)
    • Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC)
    • Atomic force microscopy (AFM)
  • Preparing scientific reports and manuscripts for publication in international journals.
