Eligibility/Qualification: Applicants must have completed all requirements for a PhD or equivalent terminal degree before the fellowship appointment begins. The eligibility criteria and qualifications vary for each fellowship:

Bioethics Postdoctoral Research Fellow: Candidates should have a background in bioethics, but their academic disciplines may include social or natural sciences, humanities, medicine, or law. Decision Sciences Postdoctoral Research Fellow: This fellowship is dedicated to understanding and improving healthcare communication and decision-making by both patients and providers. Job Description: Postdoctoral fellows will engage in collaborative projects and conduct independent research. They will work on study inception, manuscript writing, and grant applications. Fellows are encouraged to participate in CBSSM’s research seminars, working groups, and the ethics consultation service rotation. The fellowships are annual appointments, starting in late summer or early fall of 2024, with the possibility of a one-year renewal.
