Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD or equivalent in medicinal chemistry, computational chemistry with a specialization in cheminformatics, structure-based drug design, or related field.
- Genuine interest in AI.
- Research experience in ligand- or structure-based drug design is required.
- Basic knowledge of a scripting language is required; experience with RDKit is advantageous.
- Experience with AI-related research/innovation is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
Job Description:
The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will be engaged in the LEAD AI project, integrating advanced AI methods for De novo design, scoring functions, and docking methods in drug development. Responsibilities include:
- Validation of AI-based De novo design methods through retrospective and prospective predictions.
- Application of theoretical and experimental methodologies to structure-based drug design.
- Collaboration within a highly interdisciplinary team.
- Development of improved methods based on lessons learned from validation.
