Postdoctoral Research Officer: Bangor University’s School of Environmental and Natural Sciences invites applications for a fixed-term, full-time Postdoctoral Research Officer position. The role, funded by the Global Centre on Biodiversity for Climate (GCBC) in collaboration with the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), focuses on pasture biodiversity in the Kenyan Highlands under the HABITAT project.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- A PhD (or near completion) in agricultural sciences, biological sciences, computer science, or a related subject.
- Minimum of 2 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Training in modelling and data analysis.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will:
- Design and lead modelling to address research questions related to pasture biodiversity and greenhouse gas emissions.
- Disseminate research findings through publications, conference presentations, and collaboration with project partners.
- Contribute to grant applications expanding the scope and impact of the HABITAT project.
- Administer Bangor HABITAT activities, including coordinating field campaigns, organising project meetings, and liaising with partners.
- Gather, store, and analyze project data, including organizing and participating in modelling and monitoring data quality.
- Manage financial aspects of the budget, including costs of research campaigns, equipment, meetings, and conference attendances.
- Assist in the supervision of undergraduate, MSc, and PhD students within the HABITAT research program.
