Eligibility / Qualification

  • Ph.D. in Pharmacy, Medical, Biological, Biotechnological, or related sciences.
  • Ph.D. obtained within the past 7 years before January 1 of the employment year (extensions possible per NCN regulations).
  • Ph.D. degree obtained from an institution other than the Medical University of Lublin, or completion of at least 10 months of continuous postdoctoral internship abroad.
  • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of molecular biology techniques.
  • Experience in techniques such as nucleic acid isolation, RT-qPCR, ELISA, and cell/tissue culture.
  • Knowledge of biomaterials is a significant advantage.
  • Proven English proficiency (spoken and written).
  • Documented scientific achievements through publications in JCR-listed journals.

Job Description

The successful candidate will:

  • Conduct laboratory work as described in the project and oversee daily research activities.
  • Perform in vitro experiments to assess biomaterial properties (viability, proliferation, differentiation, inflammation).
  • Conduct gene expression analyses using RT-qPCR and ELISA assays.
  • Prepare biological materials and interpret experimental data.
  • Contribute to scientific publications and present results at national/international conferences.
  • Participate actively in research meetings and collaborations within the project.

Conditions of Employment

  • Full-time employment for 6 months (extendable to 25 months).
  • Salary: 11,660 PLN/month (gross + employer contributions).
  • Start date: October 2025 (negotiable).
  • The position complies with National Science Center (NCN) regulations for SONATA 19 post-docs.
