Eligibility / Qualification
- Required: Ph.D. in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related scientific fields focusing on computational or mathematical applications.
- Preferred:
- Experience in K-12 STEM education (middle school or high school).
- Experience in teacher professional development and mentoring.
- Project leadership and management experience.
- Evidence of presentations at conferences and publications in peer-reviewed academic journals.
Job Description
- Design and implement innovative, inquiry-based curriculum related to computational data, mathematics, physics, and engineering topics.
- Guide student research projects and collaborate with teachers to develop supportive, content-intensive instruction.
- Participate in after-school enrichment and club activities related to the project.
- Foster college-going attitudes and experiences among students.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and contribute to program evaluations and research publishing.
