Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD in Computer Science, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Required: Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
  • Highly Desirable:
    • Experience in machine learning, especially deep learning.
    • Experience in modifying AlphaFold or similar codes.
    • Strong background in mathematics, biophysics, or chemistry.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to develop independent research ideas.

Job Description

  • Conduct research in computational structural biology, focusing on cryo-EM/cryo-ET data, protein/nucleic acid structure prediction, and functional annotation.
  • Develop and apply algorithms/software for biomolecular modeling.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of researchers from biology, computer science, statistics, and related fields.
  • Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present research at conferences.
