Eligibility/Qualification:
- Must have a PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field.
- Experience working with single-cell transcriptomics and spatial transcriptomics data is essential.
- Solid understanding of biological statistics; experience with long-read sequencing is advantageous.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will work on the following objectives:
- Analyze scRNA-Seq data to identify cell types, subtypes, states, and transition trajectories in the normal gut’s spatial organization.
- Develop tools to integrate scRNA-Seq data with histological images and spatial transcriptomics.
- Conduct bioinformatics investigations to elucidate the pathogenesis and progression of Crohn’s Disease.
Additionally, the post-holder will contribute to the Gut Cell Atlas research programme, collaboration with other institutions, and to the Earlham Institute’s analysis pipelines and computational tools.
