Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in molecular biology, bioinformatics, or related field
- Experience in generating and working with genomic/epigenomic/transcriptomic data
- Proficiency in preparing transcriptomic or genomic libraries for sequencing
- Bioinformatic knowledge and programming experience (Python, Perl, R) desirable
Job Description:
- Apply molecular biology protocols to prepare ATAC-Seq, RNA-Seq, and DNA-Seq libraries
- Investigate the transcriptomic response of specific cell types to environmental challenges
- Explore the genomic bases of environmental adaptation
- Collaborate closely with groups across the Earlham Institute and external collaborators
