Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Chemistry.
- Strong background and proven track record in Organometallic chemistry, particularly in cross-coupling reactions, and photocatalysis.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience in optimizing catalytic reactions and excellent Schlenk techniques for air- and moisture-sensitive species.
- Team player with decision-making, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Motivated, open-minded, dynamic, and capable of independent and collaborative work.
- Strong commitment to scientific research in a competitive environment.
Job Description: The selected candidates will contribute to cutting-edge research within Prof. Ruben Martin’s group. The primary focus will be on designing catalytic technologies for functionalizing C–C bonds using a combination of metal catalysts and light-induced methods. Responsibilities include conducting independent research as well as collaborative efforts within the group and/or the project.
