Eligibility/Qualification:

  • A doctoral degree or a foreign degree deemed equivalent to a doctoral degree.
  • PhD equivalent to a Swedish doctoral degree in immunology.
  • Proficiency in multidimensional (>20 parameters) flow cytometry analysis and sorting.
  • Experience in scRNAseq, including analysis.
  • Expertise in isolation and in vitro culturing of primary immune cells.
  • Basic functional in vitro assessments of immune cell function (e.g., intracellular cytokine stainings, ELISA).
  • Strong publication track-record.
  • Self-motivated with good communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
  • Fluency in English.

Job Description: The postdoc will contribute to the Mjösberg group’s research on innate lymphoid cells in mucosal organs, utilizing single-cell RNA sequencing and multidimensional flow cytometry. Responsibilities include analyzing existing data, conducting functional experiments, collaborating with team members and gastrosurgeons, and contributing to lab duties. The postdoc will be part of the Center for Infectious Medicine (CIM), Karolinska Institutet, fostering a collaborative and stimulating research environment.
