Research Area:
The project involves digital brain atlasing and spatial transcriptomics, particularly focusing on the marmoset thalamocortical circuit and its comparison with rodent models.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree in relevant fields (Neuroimaging, Neuroscience, Physics, Computer Science, etc.) acquired within the last 12 years.
- Peer-reviewed publications in related fields.
- Experience in neuro- or bioimaging, AI applications in digital image processing.
- Proficiency in Python and scientific libraries.
- Strong analytical and software engineering skills.
- Fluent in English for effective communication and documentation.
- Experience with interdisciplinary projects (neurobiology, computational neuroanatomy).
- Knowledge of nervous system anatomy.
Job Description:
- Improve project methodologies.
- Integrate connectome and transcriptome datasets.
- Design and develop functionalities for the marmosetbrain.org portal.
- Disseminate project results at conferences and through manuscript preparation.
- Engage in multi-modal atlas creation and AI-based identification of thalamic nuclei.
- Investigate relationships between gene co-expression and connectivity patterns.
