Postdoctoral Researcher at University of Vienna: The University of Vienna is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Department of Demography within the ERC Grant project Biological, Individual and Contextual Factors of Fertility Recovery (BIC.LATE).
Designation: Postdoctoral Researcher
Research Area: Demography, Applied Statistics
Location: University of Vienna, Austria
Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Doctoral degree in Demography or Applied Statistics, or related disciplines
  • Excellent command of statistical tools and modelling
  • Excellent knowledge of demographic methods
  • Excellent programming skills in STATA and/or SPSS and/or R
  • Track-record of publications in peer-reviewed journals
  • High level of written and oral expression in English
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously
    Job Description:
  • Active participation in research and administration, focusing on Work Packages 1 and 4 of the BIC.LATE project
  • Presenting project results at international conferences and publishing them in top-ranked journals
  • Collaboration within the BIC.LATE Team and international research networks
  • Involvement in research administration activities
