Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in cell- or molecular biology
  • Strong background in cell biology and mechanisms of protein degradation
  • Expertise in cell-based experiments
  • Experience in genetic screening by CRISPR-Cas9 and flow cytometry advantageous but not essential
  • Comprehensive training in molecular biology techniques
  • Excellent spoken and written English required
  • Pro-active, communicative, team player with a drive for learning and development

Job Description:

Drive a project to identify novel regulators of endogenous sources of genomic DNA damage by screening for unknown degraders of cellular DNA deaminase proteins. Collaborate closely with lab members on research projects. Employ mammalian cell culture model systems and biochemical reconstitution to understand proteasome-dependent protein degradation principles.
