Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in physical chemistry, soft matter, experimental (bio)physics, or related discipline.
  • Experience in self-assembly, (milk) proteins, scattering tools, and super-resolution microscopy.
  • Knowledge of food science is preferred.
  • Proven track record of high-quality academic research with outstanding PhD thesis and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Proficiency in the English language, effective communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently, in teams, and in an interdisciplinary, international context.

Postdoctoral Researcher on Animal-free Milk Proteins

The Postdoctoral Researcher will be responsible for:

  • Employing advanced scattering and microscopy tools to develop strategies for reconstituting casein micelles from yeast-derived caseins.
  • Studying the (dis)assembly pathways, size, shape, stability, and other properties of reconstituted micelles.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Conducting high-quality academic research.
  • Engaging in independent and collaborative scientific activities.
  • Participating in academic and professional networks.
  • Providing support for research and development in the field of animal-free milk proteins.
