Postdoctoral Researcher (Bayen): McGill University is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Food Science and Agricultural Chemistry Department at the Macdonald Campus. The researcher will work on targeted and non-targeted analysis of chemical contaminants in food and environmental matrices using high-resolution mass spectrometry and advanced data processing tools.

Job Description: The Postdoctoral Researcher will be responsible for conducting targeted and non-targeted analysis of chemical contaminants in food and environmental samples. This includes developing LC-QTOF-HRMS methods, quantifying known targeted chemical contaminants, identifying novel contaminants, and developing new tools for increased confidence in chemical identification. The position is for one year, with the possibility of renewal for an additional year, up to a maximum of two years.
