Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Education Level: PhD or equivalent in Chemistry or related fields (Biological Sciences, Physics)
  • Skills/Qualifications:
  • Ability to synthesize metal complexes with luminescent properties.
  • Experience in characterizing the optical properties of metal complexes and nanoparticles.
  • Experience in incorporating luminescent molecules into polymer matrices.
  • Knowledge of simulation methods for modeling molecular properties.
  • Experience in writing scientific articles and presenting results at conferences.
  • Good command of English.

Job Description:

The position involves:

  • Synthesis of metal complexes and luminescent molecules.
  • Incorporation of these species into polymer matrices to produce photoluminescent materials.
  • Characterization of materials using techniques such as nuclear magnetic resonance, infrared spectroscopy, and optical spectroscopy.
  • Calibration of materials as sensors for measuring temperature, oxygen, and pH values in cells.
  • Writing and publishing scientific articles.
  • Presenting research findings at scientific conferences.
